3 What are the minimum system requirements for Macmillan Practice Online?
A: MPO can be used on a PC or Mac that has:
- an operating system of Windows XP or Mac OS X 10.4 or more advanced
- a browser that is Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox 2.0 or more advanced
- processing power at least equal to a Pentium II 333 MHz
- memory at least equal to 128Mb
- a color screen with an optimum resolution of 1024 x 768
- Flash 8 or later
- Adobe Reader 5 or later
- the ability to play sound
- a broadband internet connection capable of 500+ Kbps is recommended
MPO has an inbuilt 'Configuration Check' so that you can automatically test if your computer is ready.
